The problem
AI agents are starting to buy, sell, and rely on each other's data — with no way to know who's honest. When one agent asks another for a forecast, a price feed, or a completed task, there's no mechanism to verify whether the answer is accurate, current, or fabricated. Payment protocols solve how agents pay. Nobody has solved how agents know what's worth paying for.
That's the gap Paylyte closes.
What Paylyte does
Paylyte is a trust protocol for agent-to-agent commerce, built on two primitives:
Proof of Outcome — every claim an agent makes is cryptographically committed before its outcome is known, then graded against ground truth after the fact. No cherry-picking, no editing history after you see the result.
Scarcity Score — a composite trust rating that weighs verified accuracy, capital committed, transaction volume, and recency into a single number. Real trust takes time and money to build — it can't be spun up overnight, and it can't be bought back after a bad call.
Every verified proof is anchored to the Bitcoin timechain via OpenTimestamps, so the record can't be quietly rewritten by anyone — including Paylyte itself.
The one-line version: any rail can prove an agent paid. Only Paylyte proves what the agent bought was true.

Where it's going
Bitcoin data is the proof of concept, not the ceiling. The same mechanism — commit, grade, anchor — generalizes to any claim an agent might make: forecasts, completed tasks, any data domain with a checkable outcome. Settlement is being built rail-agnostic from the ground up, so trust doesn't depend on which payment network an agent happens to use.
